Hi guys!!

So as some of you might remember, I applied for the Human Resource Management Program at BCIT (BC Institute of Technology) to start in September. I got some bad news when it came to light that my math in high school wasn't good enough for me to get in. Then I found out that even if I take the course to upgrade my math, it will take so long that the highly competitive program will be full by the time I even am half way through upgrading...
BUT THEN.....

I talked to the woman today because I had a message on my voice mail while I was away saying that I had an interview! Well, then I was excited.. but also confused! So I have been playing telephone tag and this is what I JUST found out...

I DO have an interview (a 20 minute telephone interview) scheduled for Saturday morning. As for my math grade, the requirement is a C+ which is 67%. My math grade is 66%. There is a 1% allowance, so I GOT IT!! She said it could still come back to hurt me because it is so competitive that there will be other people with higher math grades, so now I am just determined to do well in this interview on the weekend! If I get in, I'll hear in the next couple of weeks!!

Thing is, I have NO IDEA how to prepare myself for the interview... I've had loads of job interviews, but never one for school. If anyone has any ideas what kind of questions and stuff I can expect, I'd love to hear it!!

I am just so excited, stuff might actually be working out for us. Adrian also got invited to write the written exam for another police force (After getting rejected by Vancouver, boooo, stupids!!) in June so if that goes well, he'll start that process in the next few months too!

As soon as I find out if I am in, I'll have to start trying to figure out all my financing. I'll definitely need student loans and stuff, which is scary, but worth it I hope!!

Anyway, just wanted to share the good news.
**HUGS**

I totally did need it! I feel pretty sleepy today at work, but so glad I had the time off to relax and just play for a while! Adrian and I only had one little argument the whole time we were away, otherwise it was just marvelous! I think it was just what we needed. I know things for Adrian are still hard, but we are getting there.. just slowly! Even if I don't get into the program, I'll be alright.. I'll be really disappointed, but at least I know it'll be there again next September and I'll have all my upgrades done by then!
Thanks for all the support, as always!
**hugs**
