I just lost one of my closest friends to cancer

I'm beside myself in shock. The last I heard she was going through another round of kemo. Apparently she went really quick - just in the last week. I worked side by side with her for three years as music teachers. She was so wonderful with me - she made me into the teacher that I became - she was so supportive and helpful. She always had suggestions, praise, encouragement, and always friendship. I feel so lost without her. She left behind 2 kids, 8 and 10 years old. She loved them so much. I can't stop crying. Any hugs would be greatly appreciated.

Alicia, I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost two aunts to cancer within the last two years, and it's such a devastating experience. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
