It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood... a beautiful day in the neighborhood....hehehe The sun is out.... this is just want I needed today.... AAwwww.... But you know...I REALLY need to go clothes shopping.... ALL my clothes are so big that I'm looking frumpy in them....guess I better see if I can hit a sale or two on Sat before we leave for Bloomsday....

Oh I hope you get a chance to go and you have fun. I just ordered some clothes online. It's too hard to go shopping with munchkins on the weekends and getting back in time for the bus during the week. I've been back down to my pre-Zoe weight for a few months and I really needed summer clothes. My old clothes were too big and have been for like 3 years, thanks to this diet . My mom threatened to throw my one pair of denium shorts out if I kept wearing them. They were getting holes in them and I was able to wear them when I was 6 months pregnant lol.

Yay! Good for you Shell. You definitely deserve the new clothes. Do you have any stores in particular you plan on hitting? Any new styles?

Have fun! You earned your new size, and shopping will keep you motivated. Have fun...life is neat, we are constantly re-inventing ourselves, changing, evolving and well there's a little bit of vanity involved in that.

I'm clueless about the current styles.... but just FYI my Sister bought a pair of jeans that did not fit her that she got on sale and she gave them to me to try on.... THEY FIT ME RIGHT EVERYWHERE... this is the first pair of jeans I have worn since the 7th grade... I kid you not!! So, she just emailed me to tell me there were some great sales at JCPenny... lots of Spring & Summer stuff.... so I'm gonna check them out first. She has really good taste in clothes so I trust her...

I finally bought 2 $11 t-shirts at Target on Sat before I went over to my PT's house to help her decorate her new house.... I was feeling REALLY sloppy in the shirt that I was wearing.... for the first time I could walk into Target, pull something off the rack, try it on, and actually BUY IT, cuz it fit me!! Then I just changed in the car in the parking lot... LOL

OK, well I did not go shopping until Monday, because I forgot how early we needed to leave town on Sat for the race.
I took Monday off from the gym to recover....you can read about my smaller clothes shopping trip here .
