Thank you everyone!
Will is absolutely gorgeous and we are all so happy. It was a long road we travelled to find him but worth every penny and tear.
The monment he as born was just magic. We didn't know the sex of the baby and it was great having that surprise. We knew Harrison was a boy so had decided to do it differently this time and it really was great. We named him Will as Brad's grandfather was named Willmore and my grandfather's middle name was William so we decided to go with just Will. His middle name is Vincent because that was my maiden name.
He is an angel. He is so happy, patient and placid. We have been home from hospital four nights and he has slept right through the night since then. He has a feed at ten and goes right through til about 6 in the nmorning. This is probably luck and may not continue but it has been fabulous.
Harrison adores his little brother and tells everyone about him so proudly which makes me cry every time. In fact I'm in tears a lot (of joy that is) because every time I look at Will I can't believe I actually have him at long last.
I'm recovering well but am sore from the c-section of course. I have Brad home for 4 weeks to help me though so it's all good.
Thanks again for all the congrats. I will try to keep you updated and plan to post some more pictures soon. I have to refresh my memory on how to do it as it's been awhile.

Wow! What a wonderful baby! I didn't know any of them came home from the hospital sleeping through the night.
I know you are relishing every moment with him, and it sounds like Harrison is a great big brother! He's not jealous of all the attention the baby is getting?
Take care of yourself---and enjoy sleeping while you can.

I can't believe he is sleeping through the night . You are so lucky. I really hope it keeps up. But seriously he needs to have a discusion with Zoe. I must be getting her usual waking and she has added Will's on. I'm averaging 3 hours of sleep total a night this week . Just thought I let you know so you can feel even prouder of your precious, beautiful son. I love the pictures you sent me.

Wouldn't that be fun! Maybe one day.
I don't know that the sleeping through will continue as Will seems to have really developed an appetite now and gobbles down his bottles of milk now.
Yesterday he slept til about 5.30am and this morning he woke at 5.00am so I'm thinking it could be a pattern developing of waking earlier each day because he's hungrier.
Still, I'm lucky to have had so much sleep so far so I can't complain. Even when he wakes he doesn't cry just makes cute little noises.
Will email you again soon, with new pics and I hope Zoe sleeps a bit more for you very soon. Is she teething?.

Luckily Harrison has not been too jealous so far. I guess the 4 1/2 year age gap has helped there as we can explain what's going on and continually tell him we love him and that he's special etc. Also, everyone who has brought present for the baby has brought one for him too which was very thoughtful and made him feel a real part of it all.
How are things with your son? I haven't had the time to follow all the posts but have been including your family in my prayers.

I am so happy for you! Enjoy your son - newborns are the sweetest, aren't they?
And I'm very happy for you that he has slept through the night thus far. What an achievement!
