The writer of the article has Lupus, but the things she says could really apply to the way we live with any chronic illness or disability. Just wanted to share. I stay away for a day or two and I feel totally out of the loop, so I can just imagine how you feel! I'm doing pretty good, except for being exhausted all the time - some days, like today, I have to fight to NOT sleep all day! I don't know if it's just stress or what. I did cry the first time I read it - back then, I was REALLY sick with IBS, and a friend who has CFS sent it to me. That was me every day, then. It's STILL me on a lot of days, but it doesn't crush me like it used to. I think I started today with only half my spoons. I walked to the post office and back, and then slept for 2 1/2 hours!
