It's more than enough room for one. I could live there with a BF and we'd never find it cramped. But that's not going to happen... I like my futon too, thanks. It took 2 of my friends an hour and a half to put it together (the frame came in a million pieces). I owe them some drinks to thank them. It's real hardwood. It's a very old home so it's hardwood throught. I've got pine floorboards in my bedroom, but cos 1) it's not hardwood and 2) they're not really well put down they're a nightmare to clean so I'm insisting on a carpet as soon as we can afford it! Mmm...keep it as *your* space. That's such a nice idea. There was a couple on the radio today who were thinking of moving in together only now after 17 YEARS cos they like their own space so much. The landlord refinished them and they are in very good shape. Carpeting isn't as great for my allergies so I prefer hardwood floors. It's ALL MINE. No men allowed....just kidding!
