Guess what? Eric's parents came to take care of the kids and ordered us out of the house for the weekend. We spent 2 nights in Myrtle Beach, just us, just relaxed on the beach and slept in!! What a treat that is, without little ones waking us at the crack of dawn. It was heavenly, we're back now and feeling quite refreshed. I took my oatmeal and flaxseed and such all with me, managed to do quite well while there, restaurants were very accomodating (i.e., "Yes, I know it tastes great smothered in butter but I'd like you to please leave that off mine?"  )
Had to share, it was GREAT. His parents are such a blessing to us! Kids were great for them but I feel certain they are returning home TIRED and will sleep well tonight!

That has to be such a great feeling. Sleeping past dawn? I don't remember what that is like!!

Michelle! I'm thrilled for you! You DESEVRE IT! I'm so glad you got to relax with your hubby! Your family sounds WONDERFUL...and it's great that they have you as a daughter in law! It sounds like they see how special you are and vise-versa...everyone is lucky there!
