oh my gosh! I am so addicted to magazines. I truly have a problem. But that is ok. These are just the magazines that I subscribe to.
Glamour Cosmo Martha Stewart (not my favorite, but she picked up my Rosie subscription when it went out of business) Fitness
But I also buy a magazine almost everytime I go to Wal-Mart.

I subscribe to Newsweek and Consumer Reports--very practical . I really, really liked a simple/healthful living magazine called A Real Life, but it's just recently gone out of print. In drugstores, I'm always tempted by the latest Taste of Home (and if anyone has the current issue, do try the homemade peach jam!).

I love the Taste of Home mags, too, but since the IBS / colitis, I've stayed away from them! Maybe I can take a peek again. I quit reading Southern Living, too - figured most of the recipes were "out"! Unfortunately, I don't have the passion for cooking that you seem to have, which means I'm not too fond of doing the work to "re-create" recipes - just not sure what I'm doing when I start "tinkering". Maybe I should experiment a bit more. I really appreciate the effort you put into your recipes and your replies - they've given me a lot of help!

Hi, my name is Leah and I'm a magazineaholic!! I should enroll in some program and get some HELP!! Here's my list of subscriptions:
Threads Martha Stewart Living Canadian Gardening
Now the ones I buy on a regular basis:
Better Homes & Gardens Vogue (4 times per year - usually the BIG ones) Kitchen/Bathroom magazines (married to a carpenter!) Shape or Self Flower Gardening Country Home Country Gardens
I know, I have a problem! My husband is forever telling me to get rid of magazines, they are all over my house, but organized neatly!!

Hi Christianne - I love sewing too, just don't seem to find enough time to do it, between working fulltime, 2 kids, a house (under renovations!) soccer, etc..... But a few years ago my husband re-did our laundry room and made it into a laundry/sewing room. There's tons of storage space, a long counter for cutting and another counter for my sewing machine. I decorated it with border print & pictures so I really enjoy being in there. But it's more of a winter time thing - I'm looking forward to the Fall. Happy Sewing

I agree! Time is precious when it comes to sewing. I always, at least, make my daughter's Halloween costume and Christmas dress. So like you, it is more of a wintertime thing! My stuff is all in the basement in a room under the steps. Which is ok; I can hide away when I need to! IF and when we move, I hope to have a sewing room. It is just so much fun!

I guess I am pretty lucky because I have an entire basement designated for my craft area. We have a fully finished basement that we never sat in before I got into crafts and scrapbooking etc.
Now I have an entire level dedicated to crafts. I feel bad because some people just want a craft room....and here I am with a whole floor LOL. Anyone is welcome over anytime they wish! LOL
