thanks Nat I kinda showed Padhraig a pic before, he is useless at noticing things though,to him a long white dress is a long white dress, (or in this case a skirt and top) I am not superstitious, I know that some brides refuse to divulge any info re their wedding dresses to anyone, where I have emailed the pic of mine to all my friends1

...well what I had was a hand tied bouquet of ivory roses and the florist did a wonderful surround thing with dried lavender and seashells. The bridesmaids had ivory roses and lavender bouguets and the corsages and buttonholes were ivory roses and lavender too.
I think hand-tied bouquets look best, especially with a dress like yours (not that dis-similar in outline to mine). And picking a theme and sticking to it is nice, but yours should be the most special bouquet!
I had one (expensive) florist do all of the above and then someone else organied the church flowers. remember to take pictures (or even material samples) of your dress and the bridesmaids dresses to the florist and decide on any themes you are having beforehand - for us it was the colours ivory, pink and lilac, lavender everywhere and the fact that we were having the receoption by the sea!
Also, have a good chat to any florists you're considering before committing yourself as your bouquet is a very personal thing and you want it to be better than perfect. My florist picked up on loads of stuff I didn't tell her and my bouquet was a dream bouquet!

OoooOOoohhh.. I love it! I never get into all that wedding stuff, but I LOVE that dress! If i ever have a formal wedding I would want one just like it, I was under the impression that choices for wedding dresses were only the traditional poofy white dress. You will look so beautiful on your wedding day!

There is a photo of Cailin's dress in her original post called 'I ordered my wedding dress!!' at the top of Page One of this thread. If you are looking at that post and can't see the photo, then I don't know what to do, but maybe someone who knows more about computers will reply.
The dress is gorgeous!

thanks so much everyone for your lovely comments, especially Linz for all your flowers advice. I was surfing looking for bouquet ideas and came across this site and I love the bouquets, and they are REALLY reasonable. I am not sure if I would use the designs for real flowers silk bouquets I particularly like Purple Rose Handtie (2 Dozen Roses)and Purple Rose Toss Bouquet
