I'm so excited for you!! I'm sure it helps your mind too to know that your mom is now at least a little more understanding - and I'm sure you'll be fine financially.
And don't you just love when you're still not sure you made the right decision deep down or not and then something happens and it totally solidifies your decision - you are so doing the right thing and now you 110% know it!
I was thinking of you the other day because I was Pottery Barn and they've got their spring stuff out and they had a beautiful setup of a living room that was beautiful and it was all based around yellow with this fabulous yellowy-green and white print with tannish furniture. It was beautiful and something I would totally love to have. There are so many possibilites for you and your yellow room!

Yes, my mom's approval means a lot to me. And being 110% sure that he'll never change is a great feeling!
I wish we had Pottery Barn in Canada. I look at their web site and drool...not fair! 
I wonder if their web site would show their spring line with yellow walls? I will look when i get to work. Official business. he he
