I always need/want my mom's support. What daughter doesn't.

I haven't bought anything else except for a hammer, a screwdriver, picture hooks and a plant for my desk at work. But I have $500 to use at Ikea this paycheque so it's just a matter of time now. I wonder how long they take to deliver things?

I definitely made the right decision!

Red couches rule! Ikea will run out of them soon!

You need a SEXY red couch too Ruchie! You would look so great lounging around on it. Your husband would like that too.

Happiness is for everyone!

Hi Tina,
I was so glad to read your post and that everything seems to just keep getting better for you! I'm really happy to hear you got some stuff straightened out with your mom, that must make it so much easier to have the support of your mom. It's awesome that you could talk to her about it and now she is being a lot more understanding, what a big stress reliever!
As much as I was like 'grrrr!!' to hear about the chips and the water, I think you're right that it's great to have something to solidify your commitment to leaving.
Isn't buying new stuff awesome?? We had such a blast, we got a lot of stuff at IKEA and we LOVE it. We looked at that couch that you are thinking of getting!! I think the one we looked at was blue, but we saw the red one too! The couch we got was brown, and we got a rug and a coffee table too.. it was much fun! Well, until the delivery guy smashed a hole in our ceiling, watch out for those delivery guys!!

I'm so glad you are having such a good time right now and I'll count down the days with you!
***big hugs***

ROTFL! Sexy sexy sexy sexy sexy sexy..sexy Beat ya!

I never considered leather myself until I learned it's good for people with dust alleries. Anything to feel good! Plus I find it classy and elegant...my version of "sexy"

Hey Steph! You went on an Ikea shopping spree too? How fun! What couch and rug did you get, send me a link, ok! Well, if you have time that is.

I'm glad my mom's ok now. And that you-know-who will never change.

I hope you're doing well too Steph!
