...but the guests we were expecting at 4pm never showed up. So here I am in limbo at 6:44pm.
The weather in limbo is good tho, partly cloudy and about 48 degrees.

I'm having a nice weekend, thank you Bob! 
I've been out shopping this morning, and I bought another breast cancer research t-shirt. A clothing chain here brings out new designs each year by top NZ designers, and donates a portion of the purchase price to breast cancer research. I have two of this years ones - one by Huffer and one by Tanya Carlson --> news article showing the t-shirts
Now I'm off to get me a falafel kabab for lunch and some sushi to put in the fridge for dinner.

Well, sorta! Last night we went over to my friends house and Bentley would NOT sleep there! He was up until 1 am. He was happy just didn't want to sleep.
But then he slept until 10am this morning, guess he knew not to push his mama LOL
Today my cousin came over and we had some pancakes and coffee! And sat and watched movies while Ben napped.
Tomorrow we have a birthday party for one of my friends kiddos. I'm pretty excited...maybe it's cuz it's Ben's first Birthday party!! LOL

Hello! Yes, weekend has been ok so far. Picked out a paint color for the kitchen and family room and don't like it so back to Lowe's for another try! Ughhhh the joys of painting.

I stayed up last night with our friends who finally graced us with their presence around 10pm! I'm knackered this morning, but I laughed so hard last night it's worth it.
It's a good kind of tired, the kind where your body's heavy and relaxed but your mind's awake.

My weekend has been okay but lowkey which is cool. I actually have a cold as I type this. Sore throat and the sniffles. If I was at my new job I would go into work tomorrow. But, if I feel this way when I wake up... SICK DAY for TOMMY!! Wooohoo!
