Hi, everybody and thanks for your kind get well wishes. I spoke to my doc, we're increasing the atenolol preventive from 75mg to 100mg a day and I'm starting a prescription for Periactin, one at bedtime. It's an older antihistimine that also helps migraines. If that doesn't help in a couple months, he says I should go back to the neurologist.
So that sounds like a good plan, and in the meantime I've made it three days without one, which is good news and bad news, because that means I'm about due for one!
Hope you're all well.

Good luck with the new meds, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you don't get another of those pesky migranes today.

Hi, everybody and thanks.
So far still no migraine, but it feels like I'm getting one today. It will be a while before all the meds kick in. We have dinner and theater with friends tonight, so I REALLY hope I'm not getting one.
See you next week!
