My son's surgery was a success, thank goodness, and he is doing fine. My grandaughter is precious and it was such a joy to hold her for the first time. She is 2 1/2 months old. I really had a surprise when I got home. Hubby didn't make a big mess while I was gone. What a treat! Here's a pic of my precious little Marisah Anne. All of you are so sweet and thoughtful. Some of you asked about my flight since I was so scared of flying and was going by myself. The flight wasn't half bad. The landings were a little bumpy but otherwise OK. It's amazing the courage you can muster up when one of your kids needs you....and when my son asked me to be there for his operation I just had to put aside my fears and go. Although, running through the airport with my full, heavy carry-on bag & purse wasn't fun. Why do they put the terminals so far away? It was quite a work-out! WHEW! I thoroughly enjoyed my trip but it's nice to be home. NO PLACE LIKE HOME!
