Hey y'all!
First, I want to apologize. My husband is working so hard for US. I miss him TERRIBLY...but he is not in any way trying to hurt me. I'm sorry if I indicated otherwise.
I was very down today about the fibro coming back into my life over the last few days with a vengeance. Usually I turn to sugar to make me feel better. But thanks to all of you on this board (esp. you Casey with your remark weeks ago about how everyone is creative inside and Bev with your offer to teach me to knit), I didn't go to sugar today! I painted instead!
Here in Arizona there are gorgoues mountains that are reddish-orange. And that is what I painted. I did it on computer paper, it's all we have. But it's a start. And you know what? I LOVE how it came out I always thought I was HORRIBLE at art! I gave my mom a pic I made (she threw it out). It was a cartoon...and it was fabukous. And I worked for hours. My bro brought home a pic of a still life he happened to draw at school...and she hung it up on the wall in a frame. I thought I was just no good at art (no good at all). But you guys make me feel SO GOOD! And I tried it. And I think I'm hooked!
I want you guys to know that you can say something to a person that can change their life. And that happens every day on these boards. Thanks for changing my life and helping me get in touch with a part of myself that has been repressed for years. I'm beginning to like who I see in the mirror every day! *hugs*
Love and good wishes to all,
Ruchie

Ruchie, it's SO good to hear you so upbeat in spite of things... and I'm so glad to hear you turned to art instead of something that you know isn't the best thing for you. I wish you weren't so far away - I could really just hug ya!
And that's fantastic that you love painting! I *knew* that inner artist was just begging to come out and play.
Be sure to get a frame for that painting, and hang it up somewhere!
*lotsa hugs*

That's great! Really, really positive.
I'm off now to see if a cup of coffee can help kick this headache - I'm on my fourth day now and it's BORING! Does it help any other kind of pain with you?

It has saved my LIFE! No joke. When I don't take it (it IS medicinal for me), my headaches return for the worse AND my fibro pain comes back with a nasty vengeance!
I spoke to a friend who told me her back went out a couple of years ago and she had some soda pop with caffeine. And she told me she felt SO much better from it!
I can't say it helps my tummy...but my tummy is the lesser of 2 evils when it comes to the fibro monster!
How's your headache today? I hope ALL GONE! *gentle hugs*
