Ok...I have this HUGE craving for flat coke which works a TREAT when I have the terrible nausea I am getting at the moment...would it be terrible for me to reintroduce it into my diet for those 'oh my God I am going to DIE' moments of hellish nausea? The way I see it, everything I am eating is coming out anyway from my bum, so whats the difference if it calms my tummy more? I am a really disciplined person so its hard for me to 'break the rules' as it were!

I mean, you're right... what do you have to lose, really?
When my nausea was at its worst, I sipped on flat ginger ale. It did seem to help. Good luck, and I hope it works for ya if you decide to try!

you drink it after eating. Just don't have it on an empty stomach!!!

If you like it just for the taste, maybe trying stirring it? Stirring helps me get out all the carbination bubbles!

I am 12 weeks pregnant and have been craving Coca-Cola myself. I was lamenting the fact that IBS people can't have it, and my dear sweet husband chimed in, "couldn't you have Caffeine-free Coca-Cola (not diet) and let it go flat?"
Well, I kissed the man and he got up and went to the store for me! What a guy.
I must admit that it tasted heavenly and I was very happy. I limited myself to one glass a day and after a light carb snack.
I say - Give it a shot!

Did you know that coke syrup has actually been proven to help relieve nausea??? I say drink it if it makes you feel better....no sense in suffering if you know it'll make you feel better!!
