Hi guys!
Guess what??? WE GOT THE INTERNET!! The modem came in the post today and I just set it all up, and now we have our own internet so we can be online as much as we want now - woo hoo! We got a really good deal on it as well, which is reeeeeally good 'cause I am kinda stressed about money BECAUSE...
WE MIGHT BUY A CAR!!! The car I left behind in Canada has kinda been adopted by my Dad and he is going to use it as a trade in to get a new car for himself 'cause it's kinda on it's last legs. So Adrian and I have decided that while I am in school and working (gotta get me a job!) and while Adrian is training and working, we really NEED a car to get buy. So the dealership nearby had 10 cars on special, and we went and test drove 2. One was a Ford Focus that was silver and leather inside and 'loaded to the gills' hee hee - it was BEAUTIFUL!! It was reduced from $16,000 to $7,900 (plus $2000 for a trade in, which we don't have, so basically $10,000) and it was just so cute and lovely!! Adrian was really iffy, and wanted to look around but the more he has looked, the better deal that one seemed. The big problem is, the deal ended.. TODAY! And Adrian decided.. TONIGHT!  If it hasn't sold, though, I think the guy might still make the deal with us 'cause they are trying to move out the older cars to get all the brand new ones in.
I would be SO EXCITED to get a car - it is a 2000, but it is in SUCH good condition, I woulda believed it was a new car and I've never had a new car before! Adrian said there is about 30 things he needs to check on it (he used to work as a mechanic) to make sure everyone inside is okay, but he says if we can get some more money off (the guy was offering us money off to buy it the day we looked at it) that we can buy it together!!
Okay, have oodles of studying to do so I gotta go report in and then get my butt into my books!
