I hated going to the bathroom before, and now I have a new reason. If I'm dealing with C, I often times start to have a nosebleed while I'm there. Does this happen to anyone else, or should I go see my ENT (Ear-Nose-Throat Doctor)?

Yikes! Are you straining a lot? That does not sound really normal to me. I'd go see your ENT. PS I used to get a ton of nosebleeds as a teenager, but got my nose cauterized (spelling) and haven't had much of a problem since. It takes two seconds, but kind of stings like you know what. They just put a strong chemical on a swab and rub it around your nose, as far as I remember. It's been about 10 years so I'm not sure. Anyway, I'd definitely talk to your doc. Panda

I had the same as Amanda, I had my nose cauterized twice and haven't had problems with it in years. Getting it cauterized is a really simple procedure, just like going to the dentist. Check it out with your ENT.

To give you my half-*ssed thought on this:
I think of the digestive tract as a long tube. The mouth (and nose which IS connected to the mouth) at one end, and well we all know what's at the other(!) Bob's mouth. Hey self-deprecation is LOVED by my higher power. It's like we are both sharing a laugh at nobody else's expense. Once again, I digress.
Yes. Your C may be connected to your nose bleeds...and, it's best to get it checked out.
Peace, Bob.
PS. If one laughs without out joking, it's only make-believe.
