Try this link when you have 15 minutes to kill. It's very interesting.
It's a survey that gives you your REAL age based on diet, health, sleep, exercise, etc.
If anyone is game, I'd love to get your current age and what the test tells you is your REAL age.
I'll start. I'm 30 and it says my real age is 27. Woo-hoo!

I actually took this test a year ago... and it said my RealAge was 34. At the time I took the test, I had just turned 29.
Now I'm "29.9" and my RealAge is "31.1". Yay! Hehe.

Nope, it was because my weight had fluctuated MORE then 10% since turning 25! But, if I would have taken this 6 months ago, I bet my RealAge would be like 60!! LOL

I hope to feel better by tomorrow. Not too sure why my tummy's upset today. Could be a few factors: I tried a new recipe last night, started taking flax seed oil capsules, or the cinnamon bread I ate this morning. Sometimes, it's hard to tell?
Drinking lots of peppermint tea today.

it is SO hard to tell sometimes. That is what can be so annoying with IBS. You THINK you ate ok and then all of a sudden BOOM you're running to the bathroom. So frustrating to deal with.
I hope you have a btter day tomorroww. Hell, I hope you have a better afternoon/night.
Tina, whats flax seed oil for?

Flax seed oil..... Here's a quick list.
Just look at this list of facts and studies of what Flax Seed Oil can and may accomplish:
- Research shows low incidence of breast cancer and colon cancer in populations that have high amounts of lignan in their diet. Flax is 100 times richer in lignan than most whole grains.
- Studies show that Omega-3 fatty acids help lower cholesterol and blood triglycerides, and prevent clots in arteries, which may result in strokes, heart attacks and thromboses.
- Helps protect the body against high blood pressure, inflammation, water retention, sticky platelets and lowered immune function.
- Increases the body's production of energy and also increases stamina.
- Accelerates the healing of sprains and bruises.
- Improves the absorption of Calcium.
- Strengthens finger and toenails.
- Helpful in the treatment of Eczema, Psoriasis, and Dandruff.
- Lowers high blood pressure in Hypertension sufferers.
- Has been scientifically proven to treat some cases of depression.
- Can relieve some cases of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) in females.
- And more...!

Well she said she wouldn't smoke in front of me...so that was super nice of her.
The last time I tried to quit smoking I told my friend not to give me a smoke if I asked for one...well I ended up asking for one of his smokes and he denied me of course and it turned into an all out brawl. He ended up with a bloody lip and I ended up smoking a whole pack.
Horrifying what smoking can do to you isn't it???

You know I got a real shock when my calendar age came up when I inputted my DOB! I am almost 29, where has time gone? I feel about 23 still. I got mistaken for my 13 year old sister at home at Christmas To be honest I think if I had done the test pre IBS I would have done a lot worse due to diet but I am eating so much better now and have the energy to take more exercise.
That was good fun SS, thanks

I sent this test to a co-worker. She came to my desk to inform me that she is 43 but scored 57[!!!!] on this test.
She says she's not surprised as she has: asthma, diabestes, allergies, arthritis, is quite overweight, depression, etc, etc, etc.
I told her that she should take this as a wake-up call and make some serious health changes (we're good friends) and she says she knows what she "should do" but can't.
That's a difference of 14 years...that's no joke. Poor her.

Well these sites have something to sell, so they usually give me odd results. If I ate all the raw vegetables and tree bark they wanted me to eat, I'd be so sick I'd be dead. So no surprise:
Real age 33... Their age 43.4
Oh no! Guess I'll subscribe to their spam newsletters and put my age, birthdate, zip code, parent's age and annual income on 500 other mailing lists they sell my information to!! Where do I enter in my credit card information??? I must buy something to make myself younger asap!!

Nelly = bitter, spinster, overage, untrusting of commerce sites touting free diagonstic tests... all I need is my own conspiry newsletter and, like, 12 cats and I'm all set!
I think I got major points off for my diet... All that insoluable fiber the site "counseled" me to eat at the end. *shudder!* I'd rather be able to go out and do stuff like taking vacations and meeting new friends than be stuck on the toilet all day! I think that site is prejudiced against D-ers...!
