So I was walking to my school bookstore to get a magazine for my writing course. Along the way, I saw some giant spotlights and a crowd near the Annenberg Center here on campus (UPenn). So I walk over and notice a red carpet, so I think, huh, interesting. After asking around a bit and waiting for a few minutes, who should show up but Kevin Bacon! With his wife! Wow!
Not necessarily the most thrilling thing in life, but hey, I'll take it.

Hey, I'd take it, too. Exciting stuff like that NEVER happens in Maine, hehe. The best I can hope for is a Stephen King sighting, but that really never happens.

Yah we don't get too much action over here in Ontario either. Unless you're right in downtown Toronto when they're filming a movie you'll never really see anyone.

I once saw Sinbad in the mall in Chicago - LOL. I thought it was the coolest thing ever - I was about 15....
My sister lives in LA and works for Miramax, she meets famous people everyday! I'm jealous....
She said Keanu Reeves is the rudest person she's ever met...

That's exciting!! Could you tell what he was like? I worked at a restaurant for awhile and met a few famous people (Robert redford, Sean and Robin Wright Penn), and mostly they're boring and want to hide. That's my $0.02

Not really. He didn't stay in my view that long before going inside. But he seems like a nice guy who likes his family (wife and maybe daughter was with him)
