Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Well, it has been a long 6 months but things have worked out well. Our house is rebuilt and better then it was before. My family has grown closer since the fire and we have gotten counselling for our son. He has come a long way since July and I am sure that he wont play with fire again. For the first two months we had to keep a close eye on him because our doctor and the counsellers and us thought that he would try to commit suicide, as time went on the fear of that subsided. He is getting back to his old self in most ways but is still depressed. I am just glad that we all are alive and together. We have started a new chapter in our lives and things are looking up for us. We have been blessed with great neighbors and friends and family. We would not have been able to get through all this with out them and God in our lives. I also want to thank all of you for your concern when I first posted about the fire. May God bless all of you and keep you well in 2005.
