Thanks for asking girls. I'm actually doing pretty badly....last night was awful, I woke up crying in so much pain, didn't even realize how hard I was crying until I was awake! I am SO swollen it looks like I have a golf ball on one side of my face. THe pain is supposed to be getting better by now!
Justin HAD to go to work finally today, so I've got the puppies by myself and I'm still nausous and in a lot of pain. I went to take Rocco outside and it is hailing outside, so he's freaking out, and when I leaned over to tie him up blood was running out of my mouth and it got all over him....
I come back inside and Emeril has pooped all over the kitchen floor, 3 times. It has just been a really bad morning/day so far. I think I'm going to call the doctor, I don't know if it should be hurting this bad still. My ears are hurting too, they keep cracking all day, and I have a constant headache. Not to mention, I've been C for almost 8 days now, and I'm IBS-D, so this is VERY unusual and uncomfortable.

Someone shoot me.

The tooth pain will pass, I promise. As for the C, who knows as our body's seem to have a mind of their own!

I used to be D, like taking 4 immodium a day for years, and now my body is strictly and severly C so go figure.

How's the amoxycillin working? Are you on vicodin or Tylenol with codeine for pain? I know when they are impacted recover is longer. Luckily mine weren't and I was okay in a few days, back to normal. Has the bleeding stopped?

I'm so sorry you are having a hard time. Yes, I would call the doctor and see if this is normal. And could you not get someone to come help you with the dogs? If not, crate them so they don't get into any trouble!!!

Hey Cara, I'm so sorry you're going through this. I got mine out at 18, and it took a month of recovery for me, but mine were impacted, abscessed and infected. I too am D, but I know in times of stress I become a C. Also new food pushes out old food, and if you aren't eating (I mean, how could you eat now??) you're going to just not go for a while. It's normal, dont worry!

Try popsicles. They're great for the swelling, and good for hydration too. The more you drink/eat (if you can) the better you'll get. It'll be over soon and you'll be ok. Just keep telling yourself that. And try not to overdo it. Those pain pills (especially for a person in excrutiating pain) can make you into Supercara, and you'll have to really consciously try not to push yourself!

Try to get some sleep and let your body heal. Put a warm compress on your back and try and give yourself some relax time. Good luck--

That stinks that you are feeling so awful from this! It makes me so nervous if I ever have to get it done because people think it will be a breeze and then they feel as awful as you do!

You definitely need to take it easy though because my brother had his out a few months back and he was bleeding a lot too and they kept telling him to just stop getting up and doing stuff. So try and take it easy and make Justin wait on you whenever possible. I imagine that's hard being alone with the pups though!

Big hugs for you and I hope you are feeling back to your normal self REALLY REALLY SOON!

I just got back from the doctor actually...I feel so awful. I had to go, I was in way too much pain and was really bleeding still. I have a dry socket, and a little infection. They put some nasty tasting gauze back there and it killed, and I have to take amoxocilin. I have such a headache and earache, and my face feels like it's falling off. Poor Justin had to come home from work. I have to go in again tommorrow morning to change the gauze, so he'll have to stay home again in the morning.
My little baby Rocco has been throwing up too, so he is going to the vet in an hour. Justin is at Walmart right now getting me stuff I need. I'm lucky Justin has flex time at his job right now!
I am very dizzy and out of it, so I hope this all made sense. I need to go lay down.

You guys are right - I need to relax and not do stuff, but there's always so much stuff I wnat to do...and with the puppies there's ALWAYS poop and pee to clean up, and laundry to do.

ANyways I really appreciate everyone hleping me, I'm really going to go lay down now.

HUGS to all.
~Cara
