Well, at least on the bright side your IBS is good! As for your migraines, I hope you start kicking their butt soon.

Hi LS,
You had been doing so well with the migraines.....what happened? Do you think it is the contact lenses? If so....put those things away so you will feel better.
Just keep remembering you were doing so much better and you will again.
I've been fighting a bad cold for about a week and 1/2. It's really draining. Getting a little better each day but still not my best.
Good luck & Hugs

Sorry about the darn migraine LS! What a bummer! At least you know what caused it and that your IBS stayed at bay!

Laura, those migraines are truly cramping your style. Good luck getting a grip on your migraines.
Have you ever heard of Feverfew?
Specifically, feverfew may help to:
Prevent and reduce the intensity of migraine headaches. Although the exact cause of migraines remains a mystery, some experts believe that these headaches may be triggered by the contraction and then sudden dilation of blood vessels in the head. This action appears to release neurochemicals in the brain that cause pain and inflammation. Exactly how feverfew helps migraines remains unclear, although it's most likely due to the contained parthenolides and their ability, among other things, to inhibit the production of certain inflammatory compounds and prevent blood platelets from clumping together (aspirin does this too). When taken preventively, feverfew seems to lessen the intensity of a migraine as well as the occurrence of such associated symptoms as nausea and vomiting. (Once underway, however, a migraine will not be affected in any way by taking feverfew.)
For migraines: In the morning, take 250 mg of a feverfew product (preferably the freeze-dried capsules) standardized to contain at least 0.4% of parthenolide.

Thanks, everybody! I think it was the contact lenses, I went back to my old pair and I'm feeling MUCH better.
SS, yes I've read and heard about feverfew. It's on my list of things to try. Thanks for info.
Happy New Year!!
