Bummer! Thankfully he packed food but we did not think to pack the oatmeal packs

He is in Zurich and tomorrow goes to Amsterdam hopefully they will have oatmeal there.

y'know lefty if he had carried them the whole way they woul d have had them there! That's what keeps happening to me.

I would imagine that oatmeal for breakfast is pretty unlikely in most of contintental europe, unless is a very fancy hotel. You would get it here in most places but I usually bring travelsized rice milks with me and have regular rice krispies and toast. I know its hard when he had so far to travel though.

At least the bread will be ok for him..no HFCS in bread over here! Don't worry too much about him, I'm sure he will be just fine.

Hi,

I know the feeling about the oatmeal. Ever since I started having tummy problems oatmeal has been on of the healthy foods that has agreed with me. When my hubby was in the hospital having his heart bypass surgery, I made sure to pack my oatmeal packets to have for breakfast. I have eaten it every morning for years.

I think if he eats plain toast until he gets some oatmeal he should be fine.

Good luck

I always either call ahead and let them know I have special dietary requirements or just my own soy milk and eat whatever safe stuff there is. Everywhere has bread!
