You're so sweet! Thanks for that...I was feeling a tad unnecessary. I never meant to cause all this chaos.

Heather (The...) - sorry for all the emails I've generated!

I have to agree with what everyone else said - there is no way that one comment (that I wasn't personally offended by) could undo all the good stuff you (Linz) have done on the boards - you were a great support to me when I didn't have anyone else and I just think you're lovely too!
That being said, I also things your Simon seems lovely - I thought it was really great of him to back you up. You definitely seem to have caught yourself a good one (let's hope it extends to all British Grown Boys ) and you certainly deserve it!

By the way, did you ever post any wedding pics?? I know I haven't seen any, so did I miss 'em or did you never post 'em? (In which case, do!)

*hugs*
Luv Steph

I stayed clear of that other post... but I would like to mention that I think you are a wonderful and caring person, and I don't want you to feel bad! I'm glad we have you on the boards!

You apologized and that is good enough for me. All the good advice you give to us Fibromites outweighs one word that you typed and apologized for. I've never read a mean post from you, you are always supportive and pleasant.

You two are really great. Linz, I would like to thank you for all of your past advice, if there is ever a post left unanswered, you answer it!
And Simon, I enjoyed reading your posts, you are a very intelligent guy. Your posts were very well written, and you pulled off what alot of people can't do- used an awesome vocab without sounding pompous.
This misunderstadning happens alot between us in the US, too. I am from New Jersey, and was at a convention this weekend that included people in their twentysomethings from across the US, and my pottie mouth got me in trouble with others (especially southerners) every now and again. (usually after we had been drinking) When someone would say something about it I would say, "Hey, I am from Jersey! Can't help it!" That was usually a good enough excuse.

You two seem very happy, and I wish you the best of luck together!

So I just HAD to check out the post and my gosh, do people honestly think that they are never going to be offended in their lives. This board is so mild and no one says really BAD words. I am a Christian too and don't take it THAT far. And besides you apologized which was super nice anyways.

Whatever, you are one of my long time favorites, Linz...don't change for no one!

Linz,

Don't worry about trying to please everyone. It can't be done and it's much more important to be yourself. I have a potty mouth too, and it sometimes get's me in trouble, especially with my dad. But we are who we are, and there's no point in trying to change just because a few people got upset. And as for being bi, you're just following your heart which is what we all must do in the end. My college roommate is a lesbian, and one of the greatest people I know. You've helped me a lot over the last few months, and I'm behind you 100%.

I like you too!

If it makes you feel any better, my Mum came down from the country on monday night and got sozzled (never one to miss an opportunity), and said the F word in front of me several times! Grotty ol' bag, my mum (I love her)... but now I can stop holding my tongue around her finally! Dad was a bit shocked......
