I've always been fascinated with King Tut and the time during the Pharoahs!

The Titanic and outer space are also on my list!

Great question Heather!!!

1- Interior design shows. Everyone keeps asking me why I watch them so much?? I want to be an interior decorator one day!

2- Flowers. I must have been a flower in another life! Future career #2, I want to open my own flower shop some day!

3- Natural disasters...beautiful, yet deadly!

4- The human body.

5- Natural healing through herbs. There's so many out there for almost very disease/illness. I want to know what they ALL do! Career # 3, Naturopath.

Ok, that's about it for now.

I definately agree with SS on natural disaters - LOVE THEM!! I know that's weird, but I especially love tornados. We had one a mile from our house when we first moved in, and I stayed outside looking for it the whole time with Justin yelling at me to get in the basement. I always wanted to be a storm chaser.
And I agree on the Titanic - what an amazing story!

Oh - ears - LOL. Seriously, I kiss my husbands ears, and Rocco's ears like 100 times each a day - I love ears! That is pretty weird....

Haunted houses!

Abandoned, broken, condemned, falling-apart, dangerous-to-be-in-but-I-wanna-go-in-and-take-pictures-anyway houses!

Antiques! (which isn't weird, but I've been fascinated by antiques since I was a little bitty kid, and back then, it *was* weird... how many 8-year-olds do you know who would rather go to an antiques store than watch cartoons or play with dolls?)

Fun question!

i think just to group it all together, is that people have a "fascination with the abomination" - lol something I remember from highschool english - but essentially that's why you like to slow down and look at a car accident and that kind of thing. So that said, I too find the Titanic, wars in general (esp WW2 and the Holocaust - which next semester I'm actually taking a class dedicated to just the holocaust). I love cemetaries too-there's just so much history and I don't know, I like the weird creepy feeling. I like real-life murder stories (though the unsolved ones kinda creep me out).
and then for more "normal" ones..
-Eurosealers - you guys remember those? man, I was sealing everything when I got that
-baking - i loooove to bake and how liquid and stuff turns into what it does is just amazing - i feel like a chemist!
-humans - sometimes I weird myself out thinking that i'm really a person and that I seriously control like everything i do and i'm looking out of my eyes..haha i'm weird i guess
-BANANAS! - I just think it's so amazing that they come encased in their own peelable exterior - it's just nuts
-photograpy - i'm in a photo class at school and no matter how much now I've learned how film and developing works, it is still just unbelievable to me that someone figured that out!

okay I think that's enough for now - and I know there's more but I can't think of them all!

2-how babies are made.. not the sex part, but that the fact that they can randomly grow inside us! so fun!

3- sex and the city cause its soooo damn cute

4- childhood anxiety disorders.. haha can you tell i'm a psychologist! I love anything related to psychology and the developmental trajectories of disorders..

Woo... I have a long list:

1. women in performance in the revolutionary war (it had better fascinate me, I have to write a book on it)
2. the history of amusement parks, particularly ones that no longer exist.
3. Wondering what life is like from my dogs/cat's perspective
4. how common social beliefs like gender are constructed and inculcated in people
5. the personal life of celebrities
6. how and where my 301 students intersect or care about performance (how is it relevant to them)
7. the online world of livejournals constructed by youth culture and how that is changing their socialization
8. what Eric's and my baby would look like (and be like) if we had time to actually have a baby
9. the Art Deco period and art history in general
10. My Nana's house and everything in it (much of which will soon be moving to other people's houses... and the house is sold. So I guess it DID fascinate me when I was a kid)

Is that enough?

My biggest one has to be searching for the details of people and observing them, and how they interact with people
I like to find out what makes a certain person them...

and...
Buddhism, and all religions
Vegetarianism
Nutrition
Puppets
Death (not in the sick way, just wonder about it alot)
Ghost stories
anything that strikes me as odd and out of the ordinary...
Just wish I had more time to learn more about these things, it seems like I never have time!
