Hey, thanks for the shout out. I'm reeling but ok. I've been researching different stages of breast cancer to see if I can beat the doc to my mom's diagnosis. But we'll both find out next week when she gets the results of the biopsies.
She's doing great, but I'm a wreck. I was tossing and turning last night, and today I'm back at work after a couple days' absence, but I'm not really getting anything done. My IBS isn't acting up at all (knock on wood) and I have so much adrenaline rushing through my body. Even when the metro broke down this morning, I was just happy to get out and walk the last nine blocks to work!
I get why she didn't tell us about it (not my bro either), but she's had 2 months to get used to it, and I've had a week. I'm trying to keep it together.

Hang in there Nelly. I feel so bad for you. It must be such a hard time for you and your whole family.
Let's hope she's at an early stage and it can be treated and she'll be as good as new.
