There's something else you should know, Ruchie. I think it might mean something to you.
When Christopher first found out that he was paralyzed from the neck down, he wanted to commit suicide. His wife talked him out of it, telling him that he was still the man she loved, regardless of his condition, and that she would miss him something awful, and so would his children, that they all needed him, whether he could walk or not. Christopher realized that he couldn't be that selfish, to leave his family without the support and love they obviously needed and deserved -- from him.
His wife took care of him totally all these years without ever complaining because he was always the man she loved.

Ruchie, yes I applied all by myself. It was my company's disability plan, so I didn't think there'd be any problem. Silly me! But you should take Joy up on her offer to help and email her right away!!
Joy, that is so sweet of you to help. I have to wait for the private LTD to get resolved before applying to SSI, I think. BTW, how are your migraines? My are acting up again, three in the past week. I'm seeing my doctor Friday to get my meds tweaked!

The migraines are slowly getting better. Some weeks are better than others, but that is to be expected. I am finally off most of my medication. I am now on the Ortho Evra BC patch for a continuous three mos and on 300 mg of Zonegran. If I get a migraine I take Maxalt or if it is HORRIBLE I take Seroquel (a miracle drug).
Considering the number of preventatives that I was on I would have been expecting my migraines to increase, but they haven't. I can't complain. I am sorry you are having a hard time with yours now. I hope they improve soon. Trust me I know how bad you feel.
