I went shopping today for some new pants because mine are falling off. I dropped TWO sizes. This is me doing the happy dance!!!! Then we went to the grocery store and my wedding ring just fell off my hand!!! I found it don't worry. I all most had a heart attack though!! I have to get it resized. To a Smaller size!!!!! I am so excited. I haven't wore this size since high school!!!
YYYYEEESSSSSSS!!!!

Hey Heather!!

CONGRATULATIONS, HEATHER!!! That loose ring is very significant!! I don't remember the last time my fingers shrank!!!!!! Now go get yourself a facial and a massage to celebrate!!

You and I are so on the same page! I just dropped a jeans size, from a 12 to a 10! I'm actually wearing my size 10 jeans now, and they don't even aggrivate the IBS (they're ultra low riders)!
I highly recommend ultra low riders from The Gap for all IBSers, btw!!!!!

It is all because of the diet for IBS!! I stoped eating high fat and red meat. I have almost completely cut out dairy. The only dairy I have is some of the things I buy prepacked like crackers and bread and butter!!! No cheese in five days. That is a new recored for me!!!! I also only drink water and Herbal tea! I don't seem to have such a sweet tooth any more either!! Food just isn't as important to me as it used to be. I used to plan my whole day around what I was going to eat I don't do that anymore!!!
I hope this helped!!
Good Luck!!!

I have the SAME ONES! Size 10, long. I'm 5'11" and never, NEVER find ones that fit me and don't provoke the IBS monster! These I can actually wear with heels!! But they're never on sale and cost $58, unfortunatly! Didn't stop me from buying 2 pairs tho!!

Thank You!!!
Not skinny yet but on my way!!!! I just followed the IBS diet!! I used to be big pop drinker and red meat eater!!! I also always overate. Now I stop when I am full (don't want an attack) I don't drink pop or eat redmeat. I also cut out all fried food and have have cut my dairy intake by 75%. I have never been able to lose weight in the past but this seems to be working!! I go to the doctor tommrow and I will let you know just how much I have lost!!! You can do it Bevvy!!!! It is hard I know. I've been over weight since I was ten!!! It feels good to lose some!!!
Good Luck
Oh yeah almost everthing in my fridge is low fat or fat free. My poor fridge dosen't know what to think it has never seen any thing with those lables before!!LOL

Congratulations Heather, well done!

Now get rid of the rest of the dairy and you will be unsick too! You and I are suckers for the same food- cheese and pop. I used to drink fizzy drinks every day and cheese in at least one meal. But this dier has sorted me out.

I had a smallish slice of cake with cream at my Gran's on Sunday and my tummy is a bit off as a result, I have had no dairy at all (except a soup that had some skim milk powder) for 8 weeks, and as you know I had a serious cheese problem. The result is that I have lost over 10% of my bodyweight, and I was within the healthy weight range to begin with.

Despite the post dairy tummy I am still in really good form though, keeping the positive vibes flowing!

Well done again, and keep on the wagon!

Heather,

Since we are twins it means if I can do it you can do it.
I used to have yogurt twice a day and cheese twice too. If I can cut out it you DEFINITELY can. Is the dairy worth risking a recurrence of the side pain..I know i will do ANYTHING to avoid a recurrence of my "doubled over" pain.

C'mon Heather you can do it. What dairy item is your worst weakness and I will tell you how I have managed without it and we twins can help each other!

Sinead
I am rooting for you!

OMG! I just ordered a pair of stretch boot cut ones in sandblast yesterday! (I saw the ones you got too, Steph!) LOVE GAP JEANS ...They are so expensive though. But guess what? Mine were on sale for $39.99, ordered them on-line and since it was my first time ordering online I got free shipping. Saved me $6.95 . Bargain huh!

I know I said I was going to bed but..the tofutti creamy smooth fake cream cheese is pretty good, I got the one with herbs. The Tofutti "Mozzarella" slices are AWFUL, really plastic tasting and very expensive. Could you try FF Miracle Whip or Mayo with your dinner instead as something creamy?

In Virtual Vegas where we don't have IBS EVERYTHING is safe!

You have every right ot be doing your happy dance!
just hope that it doesn't look to much like the "gotta go right now" dance or that may cause alittle confusion and worry for onlookers.... j/k
I am so happy for you, as long as you are being healthy about it, which i am sure you are.
All the while eating ADBs, too, there are girls that HAVE to be jealous of that one!

Good job, Heather!

I can't wait to start dropping weight again. I lost 11 pounds in a month but have been levelled out for a while.
