Got another gosh-dang migraine!

That's two in 10 days for those of you keeping score at home. Took an Imitrex so feeling better already. Have a doctor's appt next Friday to discuss increasing the preventive. But it's so gosh darn frustrating. I'm so tired of being sick. It seems like every day one of us hits that place. Today I guess it's my turn.

Oh phooey   !!! I'm so sorry to hear that you have yet another migraine LS. Hopefully that dr. appt. next Friday will make a differnece. Feel better soon dear, and good luck with the doc!

I hope you are feeling better. You might have already discussed medications that you are on, so if I am repeating stuff, my apologies. I take a migraine maintenance drug called Topamax that really helps me with my migraines. I was getting the typical migraine (aura, blurred vision, pain in the temple, vomiting) about once a year, but then I started getting headaches in my eye where it felt like someone was sticking a knife in my eye, or the headache where it felt like someone was crushing my skull or my personal favorite the headache where if I moved my head I felt like I was going to throw up. The Topamax has really helped me out. Again, I hope you feel better, migraines suck.

Hey LS,
Hope you are feeling better today.  So sorry about those darn migraines. Hope the doc can find a way to make you feel better.
I've been having a lot of sinus and allergy problems lately....something in the air...we've been under an ozone and mold watch. Anyway I take some OTC allergy meds that do help but I know that my sinus headaches are no fun.....but I can't even imagine what you are going through with your migraines.  Take care.

You can't get an appointment with the doc until next Friday? Good grief, Girl! Did they at least give you some temporary relief?

Thanks everybody! All sympathy gratefully accepted! Doing better today, just a little migraine "hangover" to deal with. And there is definitely a nap in my future, in my NEAR future!
