I think I'm really putting this hypno program to the test. I HAD to have some coffee today, after major bf drama (everything is fine, I'm just a typically insecure chick) ... not to mention I am having severe pms. So far the tummy is holding up like a champ. I just ordered steamed vegetable dumplings and mooshoo chicken, so I think it should be pretty safe. I haven't had Chinese food in SO long but I am having a serious craving so hopefully I'll be alright. I know I am pushing my luck here and might have an attack, but I've been so stable for so long, that I think maybe I can get away with it.
Anyway please keep your fingers crossed for me -- I don't have the time or the energy to be running to the can all night!
Besos,
Panda

... If I venture online I'll never get anything done.
PS I haven't left my apartment since Friday morning, and I've been in my pajamas for about 40 hours now. Pretty hot, dontcha think?

Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment. So far I've had a few mind-bending shots of pain and some questionable rumbling, but I think even normal people get that from Chinese food. No trips to the bathroom yet and it has been over 3 hours since I finished eating, so I might be in the clear. Let's keep those fingers crossed!

Thanks for the happy thoughts. The assigment isn't going too well, but I took a break to watch American Dreams, so now I can attack it again wiht full force. I have to write half of a 20-page brief for a Moot Court (It's like Mock Trial, but for law students) competition. I'm competing with other students in my school to make my school's team. If my partner and I write a good enough brief, we advance to oral arguments, and we are each on our own to make it as far as we can. Hopefully I will make it on to the team, and then maybe even be the one who gets to go compete against the other schools. I know I am nuts to take on extra work when law school is hard enough, but my resume seriously needs help, as no firms seem to want to hire me ... plus I really enjoy running my mouth off and having an excuse to get fired up. So hopefully I'll do alright, since I think it would be lots of fun. Just gotta write my 9 - 10 pages soon, as my partner and I are exchaning rough drafts on Tuesday. Boooo.
Hope you are feeling well -- and I read your post on the recipe board -- don't freak out about little mistakes while you are cooking. We all have a lot more on our minds with IBS than we ever did before, and it all takes a little getting used to. I hope you have a couple of safe frozen meals in the house so you don't starve when this happens. I'm a huge fan of the Amy's meals, and I can relax knowing there will always be something safe for me to eat. Since I live alone, sometimes I just don't have the motivation to make dinner for just lil' ol' me ....

How did the triple espresso, chinese food etc work out?
Hope you got some of the work done. I was to lazy to do moots in college except the joke ones (they were fun) I did one serious one and it had to be half in English, half in French on EU Law. You would not believe the junk we submitted!

Best of luck with yours,

Sinead

Hey thanks! I actually survived last night, and felt fine all day today, so I think I'm gonna be alright.
Ok enough procrastinating -- back to work for me!

Thanks for checking up on me. My tummy has been holding up just fine, despite my abuse. So glad about that. The work is still slow-going but hopefully I'll be done with the bulk of it by tonight.
Hope you are feeling well,
Panda

Glad it worked out for you this time, AP. Just go easy on it. Don't tell Heather, but I discovered I can have an OCCASIONAL cuppa joe with no problems. So I know how you feel when those cravings hit. (I even had a cookie yesterday -- my first in, well, forever -- with no problem!) But today, Girlfriend, we gotta be good.

Great to see ya.
