Hi everyone,

I just got an e-mail from Bev and she can read the posts but can't answer them. Something is wrong with her computer and she is trying to get it fixed.

She wanted to know how LS was doing? And, everybody else, too.

She also wants to wish everyone going to Vegas a great time.

She can read your posts so if anyone has anything to say to her just post and she will see it. She probably won't be able to answer, though.

I know everyone has missed her wonderful & humorous posts and hopefully she will be able to post again very soon.

Have a great day.

HI Barbie, I've missed talking to you and Bevvy!

Hey, I had the same thing happen to me a few months back. Is she not able to Login? I contacted Heather, she had to change my password for me, after that I have had no problems.

If her PC is really acting up with everything, tell her I said to {{{{Please, just get a Dell !!}}}}. It's time anyway, I know her PC is older than the one that I just replaced. Its time !!

Hope you and Bev are doing good! gayla

Hi Gayla,

How's the Costo? Have you been doing any work in your yard lately? How's the chemical problem? The weather has been great hasn't it... but so dry. I am watering every day.

I have been doing just fine. I am working 2 days a week now so I don't have as much time to be on the boards as I used to. I still check every day, though.

Heather's a genius. She got me back up and running! Damn, that sure was frustrating!

You guys are TOO MUCH. I love all your posts. What a terrific gang. Thanks to all of you who left me messages. I hated not being able to post.

Ruchie, GET BETTER! Girl, you SOOO need decent medical help! Ditto to my little friend, Vicam. LS, whassup with all these damn migraines? Is it the time of year, or WHAT?! Jen, you and I have to ease up on our "shooting from the hip," or we'll end up with no friends at all! I don't know why the world is like it is, but we're in the minority. People don't like to be honest. On the other hand, can you imagine if I walked up to you and said, "gee, lady, your haircut sucks!" So ya know, there IS something to be said for a little discretion....

Gee, I'm so glad to be back. I have diarrhea of the mouth.... somebody SHUT ME UP!

Okay, I gotta go send an e-mail to Heather to thank her. (We ARE happy that I'm up and "running," RIGHT?)

It's good to have you back, even if you are obnoxious! (Just kidding!) It's been quiet around here without you.

You know, it kind of gave me the creeps that you were watching us, but couldn't respond. Kind of like a Peeping-Tom Bevvy!!! Did you learn anything about us by just observing?

That had to be dang frustrating to not be able to respond. I can't stand it when my computer's down. What did we ever do without these things?

Welcome Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't really gone, though. I was here all along. I just couldn't do anything except read everyone's posts. Yeah, it's kinda creepy not being able to reply.

I've always had a problem with things that are broken; it drives me crazy until I end up throwing them out. I couldn't do that this time, and I was extremely frustrated. Thankfully Heather was much more patient than I.

So, yeah, now ya got me back here to bug all of ya. I'm looking forward to it!

Watch out! ...

Great to have you back, Bevvy! Yes, we're glad!! We've missed you!!

Hey, I'm not complaining about 2 migraines a month when some people get them everyday. I just had a triple whammy going last week - torrential rain, midcycle, and MIL visiting.

I'll just have the (good) doc up the dosage on the preventive when I see him next. No biggee!

Glad you're back {{{{{{{{{HUG}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

The Costro is better, I am having tiny moments of remembrance, just small patches of pain that come and go. The Refinery has claimed "NO FAULT", I knew this was going to happen, I am just not sure that I have the energy to face them with a Lawyer.

I went to Lows yesterday, they had their 1gal. Mums on sale half price, I bought 8, since I had lost so many plants to the gas release and the drought. I was so happy to see them on sale. THey are big and full, all white. Beautiful.

I have to thank you for a hint you sent out earlier in the summer. Use a peice of carpet for sitting on the ground, it has saved my butt, plus, I accidentally got into a patch of fire ants, if I hadn't been sitting on that throw rug, I would have been covered. Thanks again!!! I am having so much fun working in the yard. I just love it, it makes that stress melt away.

I have an appointment with my Colorectal Surgeon in the MEdical Center in the morning (Wed.). I am having lots an lots of problems again. I am so worrie he is going to tell me that I can't work in the yard anymore, too much bending, stooping, squatting, lifting. This will break my heart, especially since I plan on going to Master Gardeners School in January. IF he tells me this, I guess it would be much better than having Surgery again. I just don't think I am strong enough to go through that again. Dont want to do it either. But what is going to happen to all of my beautiful plants??? I am praying, thats all I can do.

Momma is not doing well either, I finally got her an appointment with another Oncologist, so we can get the Leukemia thing affirmed or not. She really doesnt look good or feel good at all. I really should not be feeling so sorry for myself when she is having so much on her shoulders. Thanks for asking, I will keep you updated soon!

I have missed you on the boards, but so glad you are at least able to work 2 days a week.

Thanks Bev! I sure have missed you, so glad you are back!

I had my appt. today, I almost missed it because of a stupid and I do mean stoooooooooooopid traffic jam. Luckily, it broke loose and I scooted in right on the dot, I had called and they told me he would be going in to surgery right after my appt. and it would be about 2 weeks before I could get back in. I told her my truck could sprout wings in an emergency, so glad I got in there. Anyway, he examined me, told me everything looked fine, it is just taking me a long time to heal. And, he also said that I need to do everything I can to get this IBS under control. (HAAAAAAAAA!! Under control huh?) I do admit, that I was baaaaaaaaaaaad on the cruise, but hey, who can pass up that wonderful food?????

I am back on the diet but I cannot find a SFS that does not give me gas, I dont care how low of a dose I start out with. I have not tried Acacia, I guess thats the next thing I need to try. I hate this @#$#@@ IBS, but, so does everyone else. sorry to whine.

good talkin to ya !!!

Hi Gayla,

I'll tell you a little secret. But ya gotta promise not to tell anyone.

I don't take any SFS anymore. I know, I know, I'm bad. Bad, BAD, BAD . I tried them all, believe me, every one of them. And all I got was cramping, LOTS of pooping, DIARRHEA at the most inopportune times, and BIG-TIME BLOWING! Constantly.

I'm a D person, so that could make a difference, I don't know. But ever since I got myself off SFS I haven't had a problem with any of those symptoms. I don't think I've had a fart in 3 months!

Life is sweet.

Me too. I started this new fibre and it gave me HORRIBLE gas so I stopped taking it for a couple of days and notice I ahve zero gas anymore. I'll have to reorder some fibre from heather as that stuff has no side effects.

Hey there, Janey!

You are such a sweetie-pie! Thank you!

Actually, I really wasn't gone. I was here all along, I just couldn't post. Frustrating for someone with a BIGGGG mouth!

Yeah, that honesty thing -- it ain't what it's cracked up to be. I've gotten myself into more hot water than you could imagine! AND lost a lot of friends too. People don't wanna hear the truth. Maybe they just can't HANDLE the truth!

No, Girlfriend, I won't leave. There's too much here to chat about, now that I'm back "up and running." Like I said in a previous post, WATCH OUT!

It's true. No farts. Regular poops. No cramps (well, except for that nasty thing about not eating a dozen or so ADBs at one stretch....)

Yes, I really AM enjoying the new house. Not a day goes by that I don't say a little prayer of thanks. I feel very fortunate to live here....

..... with the one exception -- George The Barking Dog. I have to go outside and yell at him every single day, usually two or three times a day. He drives me crazy! Actually, my voice is so shrill, he listens to me -- and shuts up! It's wonderful. But then a truck will go by, and he starts up again (he can't stand the sounds of trucks), and he just can't stop. And then Big Mouth Bev is back at it again.....

Thanks, Gayla. You're a sweetheart!

wow.. that sounds awesome.. I am bloated (or possibly just fatter) have gas and still have diarrhea. I've worked up to 2tbsps of acacia a day since May and I don't remember the diarrhea letting up since so i've kept on rising. Everyone tells me to just work up to 3tbsp a day.. so I guess i'll try that. I'd love to have a normal poop . GOOD FOR YOU!
