I can't say that I get around to reading all that much fiction, but in the last year or so I've read books by Robertson Davies, Margaret Atwood and Yann Martel, and have liked them all. The last author I got seriously into was Madeleine L'Engle, although that was when I was like 14!

I basically never read for fun anymore. I used to love to read, but somewhere along the line, it stopped being as enjoyable for me, for some reason... now I find it REALLY hard to get into a book, and basically only read when my therapist gives me a book as a homework assignment.

But I love the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I think those were the last works of fiction I picked up and actually enjoyed. Although, I like Chuck Palahniuk - I read Fight Club, and got halfway through my brother's copy of Choke last time I was visiting, and find his stuff interesting. Oh yeah, and I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Shel Silverstein, heh.

It can be hard to find time to read. I am a stay at home mom so when DD is taking a nap or at pre school I am reading. I realy should be doing house work but that is not as much fun
I have never heard of those authors what kind of books do they write?

I love trashy romance novels!!! I know, what a waste of a brain. But since I spend so much time reading sciene textbooxs (I'm double majoring in animal science and toxicology, with a minor in poultry science) when I read for pleasure I need something that doesn't require significant brain functioning. I don't really have a favorite author, I just head down to the public library and choose books at random.

I love to read! My favorite authors are Stephen King and Dan Brown, my favorite book is Wizard and Glass by Stephen King.

Now that finals are finally over, and I have break and then co-op maybe I'll have some time to read!

My favorite book of ALL TIME is "Memoirs of a Geisha" by Arthur Golden. A must read! I've lent this book to so many friends and they've all loved it.
