As you can see from my profile I registered about 2 weeks ago and have been lurking about sort of eavesdropping to everyone and asking for the occasional bit of help. I feel like when I am on this board that everyone has such inner wisdom and you are all so kind to share it. Kinda makes me feel inadequate but I am sure I will learn that from you all too.

The words of encouragement and just to hear that I am not insane/a complete moan/unduly frustrated are great. Thanks everyone!

LauraSue- I shared your "rocking chair" quote with a work colleague who was stressed out..she LOVED it and it really cheered her up so thanks!

Here's to getting this tummy business beyond the what to eat when you can't eat anything stage so I can try out all the yummy recipes too!

Hello
I am also new here and isn't this place great. I hate IBS, but love the people. Glad to hear your looking up. You will be able to eat soon. I think I am going to give it a try this weekend.
Good Luck

I don't know if I welcomed you before now or not, so... welcome! Aww, don't feel inadequate... just remember that ALL of us were new and clueless at some point.

Aw, Sinead, you made my day!! That's so nice!

Welcome to the best message board on the web! Glad you found us, sorry you had to! But good for you for wanting to deal with this.

Looking forward to getting to know you. I see a couple other posts from you here and in the Diet board that I'm going to try to reply to.

Great having you here and I bet you have lots of wisdom inside to share too!

Hi Sinead! I'm Nel. I'm new too. I've been reading Heather's site for support when times get rough, and I can't believe I hadn't found this board before. The people here are so knowledgable and they really care. Welcome!

Dublin is wonderful!! I've spent some summers in Newry and Omeath and had a wonderful time. Love those Irish boys too. I could listen to them talk all day...
