I'm soooo excited. After years of driving an old beater I finally purchased a gorgeous new car. Well, okay, it has about 9,500 miles, but it's new to me! It's a bright red 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and I'm just in love with it. Now I have a reliable car to drive to and from my new job! Could life possibly get any better??!!

Sorry, I'm just in an amazingly good mood today.

Here's a picture of my new baby!!

Gorgeous car, Kree! Congrats!!

And yeah... I've never owned a car with less than 25K on it, so I'd consider 9500 "new". Heh.

congrats and enjoy it.. I've found buying newer lower mileage cars is a blessing in the long run for me... since every older car I've bought has needed major repairs... and not lasted.. but DH has always done older ones.. we just got him one a month ago when his last one blew up... its a 1995 Jeep Cherokee... I love my subaru though...

She's a beaut. Gosh, a new job, new car -- next thing ya know, we're gonna hear about a new GUY! Eh?

BTW, that house in the background -- NICE! Very nice. Definitely a "Bev" kinda house.

Thanks for sharing, Kree, and again, CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks, Bev! A new guy would be kind of nice... but let's take things one at a time here, lol.

Btw, I'll tell my neighbors you like their house!

Great car. Being red means it will definately go faster than all the other cars on the road.

Enjoy!!

I've heard that too! I guess I'll have to be extra careful now. Oh well, it's worth it.

KREE!

Major congrats on your new car!!! It's a beauty! And it looks like it was a gorgeous day when you got it (yesterday?)

My hubby and I had to get a new car to move AZ. We had a 91' Toyota with no AC and over 14,000 miles on it. NO WAY we were taking that across country. We didn't have a mechanic back east so we didn't to buy used. So we got a Saturn VUE (it's been recalled folks). It's silver. We like the way it drives--but now we need to get it fixed so we don't have to worry about roll-overs. But we're enjoying the "view"

So where did you go in your new car? When we got ours, we turned up the sound (1st car with a CD player) and drove to scenic areas back east.

I'm thrilled for you--enjoy it, you deserve it!

Love,
Ruchie

Thanks Ruchie! Isn't it exciting to get a new car? Yours sounds really nice too! Silver cars are so pretty... but please get it fixed! We don't want you rolling over!

I didn't go anywhere too far. I just took the extra long way home and drove around on the back roads for a while. It felt soooo nice though. On Sunday we're moving me up to the Thousand Islands so I'll certainly be giving it a workout then!

Kree, you're moving?! How exciting!!!!

This is my 1st new car ever...my hubby and I spent WEEKS trying to figure out what to get! It really is a great car...now we just have to get it fixed

So Kree...if you had to move...why didn't you come out to Arizona? That's where I would have told you to go if you'd asked...

Happy Friday!

*hugs*

Yep, I got a job! I had been looking like crazy all summer and finally landed a special ed position in the Thousand Islands, which I'm really excited about because I spent my summers here as a kid and I really love the area! I actually moved up to my cousin's house today. Now I just have to find an apartment of my own!

How exciting that this is your first new car! I've never had a brand new one. As a matter of fact, this is the first car I've ever bought on my own. Isn't it a great feeling?

Arizona... yikes. Sorry Ruchie, I'm a Northeast kind of girl. Arizona sounds too darn hot for me. I'm glad you like it though!!!
