Welcome to the board,
Heather suggests that anything from dairy source such as whey protein can be a trigger. She says "In addition to fat and lactose, dairy contains components such as the proteins whey and casein, which can cause severe digestion problems. Though yogurt is traditionally recommended as an "easily digestible" dairy product because fermentation has reduced the lactose levels, even non-fat versions contain whey and casein, and should be avoided". However, like all things pertaining to IBS there are few universal rules that fit everyone so it is something you may have to try and see if it is a problem for you.

I don't know much about Whey protein but my suggestion to you would be Creatine as it is suggested by many gym trainers. This can be helpful for you to build muscles.

Hello,
I wanted to know if you finally tried to incorporate whey protein to your diet. If so, how was that??? My experience with any kind of protein (whey isolate, casein and whey) is awful (bazooka farts) were killing my marriage, not kid din, so finally I found this and I eliminate them from my diet; however I am trying to find how to supply my protein intake since I want to compete on fitness and diet is more likely on veggies and protein. Let me know. thank you.
Adriana Herrera.
