can't even bend over and touch my toes and I'm 22. While I'm extremly unstable,I decided to do some sort of exercise to get more flexible, twice a week which as my days off work. what dvds do u reccomend? I want to be able to do the splits and lots of thinsgs.
then when my ibs gets stable I can workout more.

You haven't met me, I'm terribly inflexible! I can't touch my toes, either - I'm twice your age, but I couldn't when I was young, either. Whenever I go to the chiropractor and she lifts my legs she makes fun of how tight my hamstrings are. I'm slim and in good shape, but I can't seem to get limber.

I would take a yoga class. You could get a yoga dvd at home and do it but I think you'll get more out of it and get motivated to do it if you take a class. Not only will it help with your flexibility, it will help in dealing with stress.
