I was wondering if anyone noticed their IBS symptoms get worse after taking a B-complex vitamin tablet. I had two bad attacks this past week and on both days I had taken a B-complex vitamin tablet with my breakfast. I couldn't think of anything else I had done on those days that was different. Could it be that a B-complex supplement is too stimulating to the nervous system? What do others think? Thank you!

I've actually felt better after taking B vitamins. But I probably haven't done it consistently enough to be an accurate beacon. Just my experience.

I take a B-complex everyday for energy since I can't drink coffee. It has no ill effects on me whatsoever. You should probably check the "other ingredients" and see what else is in your B-vitamin. You might need to find another brand.

I get a lot of GI upset with vitamin tablets, B-complex included. I've had better luck with liquid B vitamins. For multis I have to take children's chewables.
