something that has really helped me which surprised me is using a heating pad. I have used one almost every night since I had some severe attacks back in May. I had read on here that heat can help prevent those attacks. So now every time I think I may be having an attack come which for me is SEVERE pain and cramping in the middle of the night for hours and hours, I go to sleep with a heating pad and when I wake up a couple hours later I take it off, and I have not had the severe pains since then. This is the longest I have gone without them so far. I still do have both contsipation and diarrhea sine I have IBS A but the pain is gone so far!

I'm still cramping alot my self at night. I've used
a heating pad on me to at night for 7 years its also the
only thing that really helps with the pain. I have been on the ibs diet for just over a month. The diet is great but i do still hurt quiet often it gets really depressing. Hope you get to feeling better at night.
