Weight Loss Anyone?

About 7 years ago I was finally diagnosed with IBS. I had no idea what it was. I found Eating for IBS and it helped so much, not to mention I lost 30 lbs. At that time I started at 210 and got down to 180. Many years have passed and I gradually felt safer and weaned myself from the safe diet. Now, again, not only am I in constant danger of an attack and pains, but I have gained plus. I just went to the doctor and have gotten myself up to 230. HELP! I'm shocked and I'm not. I know that Eating for IBS is my salvation in many ways. I used to come to this board often to look at the daily check in to see what everyone was eating and doing. Where is everyone?
Anyway...anyone want to challenge themselves with me to eat better and lose weight along the way? I'm not in denial I know I need the support BIG time, so that's why I'm here.

I need to lose almost 50 pounds. I ride my recumbent bike 4+ times a week for anywhere between 20 and 45 minutes. I've been cutting down on food intake a lot. So far I've lost 7 pounds!
Anyhoo, shoot me an e-mail if you want to send stuff back and forth to help encourage each other to keep to it. My e-mail is in my profile.

Are you going to be journaling what you eat daily? I would love to get knew ideas for safe eating. And I think I have made such a mess of my weight I can't clearly see what is the best way to eat. I hope I make sense, I'm just feeling horrible (FAT!). This is terrible way to feel. I like your list of why we should lose weight. I think I'll do the same.
