breakfast: two light spice muffins
snack: pretzels
lunch: mini piece French bread, 1 1/2 mini turkey burgers, cup pears
snack: mini piece French bread
snack: mini piece French bread w/ reduced-fat PB
dinner: two turkey sandwiches -- each made w/ two mini pieces French bread, deli turkey meat, lite mayo [Edit: I just realized that though I made two, I only ended up eating one.] [Not that it really matters.] [But, you know, the whole food paranoia.]
liquids: 75 oz water, 6 oz hot cocoa (w/ cocoa and soy milk, both of which are forbidden on the IC diet I'm following, so if I whine tomorrow about being in pain feel free to point out it's all my own fault)
Today was way too starchy. The French bread is really small, though. So please don't think I'm pigging out or anything. The muffins are small, too -- they are wizened little things that don't even fill up a paper muffin cup. I always worry that people will read my entries and think I eat too much. I guess this is a stupid thing to worry about. Probably I should focus my energies on sanitary conditions in third-world countries.

Breakfast -
plain bagel
water
Lunch -
Amy's tofu vegetable lasagna
French bread
water
Dinner -
plain spaghetti noodles
water
Snacks -
pretzels
I actually cooked an entire healthy dinner, but I didn't eat it. It had some chicken in it, but I think the fact that it was hickory smoked made it smell like ham (one of my WORST triggers and the culprit in my last HUGE attack a few months ago). My husband said the food was good, but I couldn't make myself eat it even though I knew it was completely safe. I couldn't even stomach the spaghetti noodles until the chicken crap was thrown out. Besides that, I think I'm coming down with a cold again. I didn't have much appetite at dinner time and now I'm starving at 1am... go figure... At least my tummy's okay...

Albert Einstein ... discovered that a tiny amount of mass is equal to a huge amount of energy, which explains why, as Einstein himself so eloquently put it in a famous 1939 speech to the Physics Department at Princeton, "You have to exercise for a week to work off the thigh fat from a single Snickers." ~Dave Barry
Phase 4, Day 6 Score: 5 - Good
No exercises today either. Sigh.
The scoring ranges for Phase 4 are: 0: Excellent! 1-21: Good 22-39: Fair 40+: Start Again
Here is the general explanation of the behavioral modification approach I'm using.
What I ate:
Pre-Breakfast: Mug of decaf Constant Comment tea with generous teaspoon of honey 1/2 cup applesauce with 1 teaspoon Acacia
Breakfast: 2 wee Cinnamon Rolls Hard-boiled egg white Mug of decaf Constant Comment tea with generous teaspoon of honey One-A-Day Essential MultiVitamin; 500mcg Vitamin B12
AM Snack: 1 wee Cinnamon Roll 1 mug of Lipton regular tea (caffeine removed) with 2 sugar lumps (this may NOT be IBS-safe for everyone - I don't know how much caffeine is left and this doesn't remove the tannins)
Lunch: Leftover TessLouise's Chicken and Artichokes with modifications Rotini pasta 1/4 slice No Knead Bread 500mg calcium from Tums; 200IU Vitamin D
PM Snack: 1/8 Gingerbread recipe from Heather's EFI Cookbook Mug of Honeybusy tea with 2 sugar lumps
Dinner: Little Minnie's Chicken Paprikash without the potatoes 1 cup noodles 1 bite No Knead Bread (new loaf, had to sample it) 500mg calcium from Tums; 500mcg Vitamin B12
Evening snack: 1/8 Gingerbread recipe from Heather's EFI Cookbook 500mg calcium from Tums; 200IU Vitamin D
I got 6 additional teaspoons of Acacia throughout the day, for a total of 7 teaspoons of Acacia. I got 76 ounces of fluid which is very good although I'd like to get more.
