Well I'm not new to this site but i am new to the message boards. I'm sitting in my office crying because i have realized that I have let my weight and IBS get out of control. I know that I need to make some big changes in my life. I'm not sure how but i've gained about 30-40 pounds since sept. and its crushing my spirit and who I am. I haven't said this in so many words so i'm not sure why i'm saying it now. I just know that I need some help. I made an appointment to meet with a personal trainer at my gym to get me jump started I just know that if I don't take care of my IBS it will always go back to that. If anyone has any tips on how to get myself going and motivated please let me know.

Food:
small white dinner roll (from Italian bakery)
spaghetti squash topped with spaghetti sauce
smashed purple & red potatoes with chives & dill not-so-much spinach sauce & lots of sauteed cremini "button" mushrooms
another small fresh white dinner roll with the grilled zucchini I was too full to eat earlier
steamed carrots
Well, I keep grazing--I get full so fast on this SF stuff, but it works. It's just really hard to eat enough. The SF is really stabilizing me--it's amazing to have solid bm's.
So, the challenge continues: to stick with Heather's diet guidelines.
Kate.
