Having trouble with my hamstrings again (VERY TIGHT) ... I stretch before and after EVERY workout....

I've left a message for my Dr to see if he will allow me to go back to the physical therapist without me having to come in to see him.

Something is also going on with the heel of my right foot?????

I'm worried cuz I've got the "Race for the Cure" 5K this weekend that I'm walking..... I hope my body will allow me to.....

I'm hoping to get in to see the therapist at least 2 times this week....

I've got a session with my personal trainer tonight too (too late to cancel without getting charged)....I have a feeling tonight will be UPPER body... LOL

watch that injury Shell.

P got really bad shin splints two weeks before our 10K and had to take it so easy but the adrenalin on the day got him around the course. Getting physio will sort it out.

This is so creepy and I'm p.o.'ed. However, I will adapt. Maybe it's just my body's way of letting me know I need a vacation from a certain food, lol!

(hmmm...babyfood spinach or anything green seems to be giving me D attacks. actually anything that smells mildly "eggy" will send me straight to the bathroom should I injest it. bizarre. i'm also really stressed out and that is probably a factor. okay, enough said. there's just not much left for me to eat. dang.)

Anyways, here's what I ate:

quinoa flakes

quinoa flakes

veg. soup: basically babyfood baked zucchini in stock with lots of fresh basil and chives

peeled baked potato
steamed carrots
babyfood spinach (only a cup, I promise)

peeled baked potato
steamed carrots

Summary: I guess body wants me to lay off the spinach and IF veggies for awhile. It's just so creepy. I hope I don't turn orange. At least carrots are good for detoxing from smoking. (actually orange food in general is good for that.) It's been over 25 weeks. It feels like a past life.

Kate.

no exercise, went for a nap when I got home from work as felt rotten, food OK though.

Kate, all that green-ness has caught up with you, I love spinach and cabbage but if I eat them cooked the house has to be evacuated due to my gas. Interestingly I can eat them and other leaves raw without bother as long as I have SF with them. I am a lover of orange things too, carrots are my favourite of all and I'm not an oompa-loompa yet

That's a relief. I've rediscovered squashes, too. I'd forgotten how much I used to love them. Also, I tried sweet potato fries and they were delicious and agreeable. Peeled organic russet potatoes seem to be fine as well. And mushrooms, thankfully. Anything is better than green food--even parsley!

So, I'd rather be an oompa loompa and a beet-nik. Besides, carrots are great for your skin.

Thanks, Cailin. It's really hard for me to follow the diet which I know works so well. I've got a lot of programming and tapes, but I just cannot take it anymore and my butt hurts.

Kate.
