I just want to say way to go!! I've been running for 2 years now. I did 5ks all last summer and remember how good I felt when I could complete one w/out stopping. Now I've moved up to 10ks and started training for a 1/2 marathon in August. I did the Race for the Cure on mother's day here in Mpls. Way to go!! I'm always excited to hear about people running!!

Thanks Cella!! I'm really just walking...but still 2 years ago my butt would have been on the couch... the only walking I did was to the bathroom and to find more crap to stick in my mouth!! My hubby is running it however as well as a 1/2 marathon in Nov... I'll be walking that one too. My goal each time is to finish and beat my previous time
Good for you for doing Race For The Cure and good luck in your marathon too!!

Now remember, I burn more calories because I weigh more... the more I loose the fewer calories I will burn and will have to increase my intensity. Good luck on sorting your PT job.... you will get there when the time is right for you.

Hello! Here is what I did today...
Exercise: Went out with Adrian and puppy to this trail along the river where Adrian runs. He ran up and down and I jogged/walked. I walked a lot more than jogged, but I think I did pretty well. I was doing that for about 45 mins. Then we stopped so the dogs could have a swim (we had my sis's dog too) and I did lunges, squats and inclined pushups and tricep dips on a bench they had there. Then we went for a long walk in the dog park, so more exercise.
Breakfast: Peppermint Luna Bar
Lunch: 4 potato and onion perogies (bad!)
Dinner: Thai food (I had stir fry chicken in ginger with rice, as well as some baked spring rolls).
Snack: Some raisins and a few chocolate chips, handful of pretzel sticks.
So... low on cals, good on exercise. Need more healthy meals.
Cheers, Steph
