I went to the gym today to do my weight and cardio routine. I meant to get up WAY earlier for a weight class at 9am but that didn't happen. I was going to make the yoga class at 10am but wth the 15 min walk to the gym I would have walked in late which the gym hates. Oops.
Anyhow, I got an attendant at the gym to do my measurements again. And guess what??? I have lost some inches! My waist was 33" and is now 29"!!! YAY! I have also lost an inch here and there on my legs, hips and shoulders.
All I have to say is........FINALLY!!!! It's about time!
Oh ya, and I am building muscle because I am able to do heavier weights. I have gone from 5lb free weights to 8lb and now 10 lb. I am even able to do 12 lb weight on my triceps. YAY!!!!!

You've gotta love results that you can measure! Way to go. Isn't tangible positive feedback motivating?
Keep on kicking a$$, Tina.

Keep up the great work, girl. The IRON RULES, doesn't it? It really makes a HUGE difference. Keep motivated - which is much easier when you've got some results to inspire you!!!

That is wonderful Tina, great great great work.
4" off your waist is fantastic, and every inch from everywhere else counts too.
Wow you are lifting heavy weights- I am useless at weights and they are currently not on my program, yay!

Thanks Sinead! I only wish that it was inches of my belly! It's not that bad but not flat.
I have to say that I LOVE lifting weights. I always have(with all four gyms I've belonged to in my life). I get an adreneline rush from doing them. Something kicks in and I always get so much extra energy. Plus as a woman, it's great for my bones. Try em!!!!
