Hello to you all. I'm new to this website and looking for advice. I was diagnosed 6 months ago with IBS. Soon after being diagnosed with IBS I moved. I've had the blood test, stool test, CT scan, physical exams. So my new Doctor has informed me IBS is a catch all. I've heard this term "catch all" before, so is back pressure normal? I'm wondering if any of you out there experience back pressure with Constipation IBS? I have pressure in my middle right side of my back. I feel it when I work out, I feel it when I bend over, it is mostly always present during constipation. Is back pressure normal. It's not painful, just present, like a ballon inside. Any advice of comments would be great. Thanks!

hey. you should probably repost this in the ibs diet board, since this board here is mostly for fitness/weight issues as they relate to ibs. you'll get more responses there.
but i can tell you that i do get symptoms in my back - before a bad D attack i'll feel it in my back, and i actually think it's focused on the right side for me, too. that's often how i can tell an impending attack from gas that won't get worse. hope that helps a little.
