Gee, babakgirl, I think you totally completely get it. Truly...that's exactly how I consumed the organic boob of chicken...boiled, cold, & SHREDDED...i.e. a baby could eat it.
And, yes, I was feeling simultaneously rabid as a dog with hunger & nauseated and it was the only thing that I could think of to eat so I went out and purchased it, cooked my "kill" and ate it. Made some leftovers, too. I drank all the broth.
AND, furthermore I felt better. So, I had another 1/2 c. of the same carefully cooked flesh & felt much better again too. The day before I had one of those tuna episodes. I don't get it, but every so often it happens to me these past through years. So...while I don't understand it, I am psychospiritually okay with it. Honestly, I have also been feeling really faint/nauseated/dizzy/shakey & I know I'm anemic from recent blood test results. I more than suspect that it is human (body) nature. So...for as long as my body wants me to be IBS-safely "carno" I will be. Truly, you cannot know HOW MUCH BETTER I felt after nibbling on that chicken because it also smelled right. The day before I felt so nauseated hungry that I consumed a fair quantity of egg whites and felt better, too.
Thanks, for sharing/understanding.
Kate.

It looks to me like it could have been quite a bit of what you were eating. Then again, some people are able to handle what others aren't so these may not all apply to you, but here are some ideas anyway... Oh, and, I would start keeping a food diary of every single thing you eat and your reaction. Even days you don't get a chance to report in here or whatever, make sure you are keeping track of everything.
Breakfast: 1.5 c low fat raspberry ginger granola .5 c low sugar chai and .5 c low fat soy The granola is high IF, but is it packaged? I have had a hard time finding granola that doesn't have Milk Ingredients or anything else that is irritating. Checkfor artificial sweeteners as well.
Snack: 2 full cinnamon graham crackers (cal - 130; fat - 2.5g; fiber - less than 1 g) Any dairy/Milk Ingredients or articial sweeteners? Lunch: Carrot, apple, passionfruit juice w/ Tbs Benefiber 2 slices sourdough bread with 3 slices of the Hearty sliced honey smoked turkey and a light smear of original veganaise.
Snack: 2 full cinamon graham crackers
4 Ricola Echinacea Honey-Lemon throat drops while at work (no calories or fat content listed) to counteract the dry mouth caused by Hyoscyamin (Levbid generic). Throat losenges hurt my stomach _really_ bad. I can't remember if I figured out why it was, as I don't use them at all anymore but they used to really bother me. Check for any artificial ingredients, sorbitol is a big bad in some cough drops. Artificial colouring as well. 2 liter bottles of water while at work
Pre-dinner snack: 4 low fat Keebler classic crackers Dairy/milk ingredients?
Dinner: 2 c Campbell's Select Rosemary chicken with rosted potatoes; total cal - 220; total fat - 2 g Is this canned soup? Like the others said, I would check the ingredients here. Be careful of chicken fat added to the soup, and MSG.. as well as the other big bads. Dessert: 1 slice fat free sourdough bread with smuckers strawberry jam (could the seeds be affecting me so badly?) I'm not sure if it is the seeds, some jams have a lot of artificial sweeteners in them. Pre-bedtime snack: 1 slice fat free sourdough with honey
Multi-vitamin, C supplement, Cal-Mag-D supplement. Check your multi-vitamin for sorbitol, I made this mistake and was in oodles of pain.
Exercise was being curled up around a heating pad after stretching my back and doing some yoga moves for back and abdominal pain. Aww, I'm sorry you were in so much pain. I hope you can figure out what bothered you.
Several small bottles of water while at home.
I hope maybe this helps a little. I might be telling you stuff you already know about the sweeteners and stuff and I don't know the brands, just the idea that came into my head when I was reading your post. Good luck, let us know!
Cheers, --Steph

Sorry, I don't mean to buttttttt in but I noticed the comment about the Teeccino.....I just bought some of it and drank 2 cups one day and got HORRIBLE D!!!! I called the company and they said that because of the inulin, if you have IBS or whatever digestive problems to start off drinking it slow, kind of like a SFS or you will get loose stools or whatever. It made me very sick.......I LOVED it, but I'm afraid to drink anymore of it.
Maybe I should just drink a 1/2 cup a day until my body can adjust??? It's good stuff!!! I told the company to make it WITHOUT inulin, so I can drink more of it and not have to worry about getting D!!! Now, why did they go off and mess up a perfect drink for me by putting a bunch of fiber in it???? LOL!!!

50 minutes biking (I thought I was kicking butt, but it was only the usual 12 miles) and 1780 cals. Not bad.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Good point, Michelle!
Oh yes - it's probably a good idea to start out slow on it and see how it affects you. I started out drinking it, not too long after I started this diet. I didn't notice any negative effects, no D attacks or cramping or gas, but I can eat Luna Bars without any problems and they contain inulin.
BTW, here's the link to the Teeccino site if anyone has anymore questions or concerns. Teeccino

Feeling a bit better today. Thank you for the advice. My soup does have MSG in it.
This morning I just had Rice Puffins and soy milk. No caffiene.

Thank you very much for your help! I skipped the granola in favor of rice puffins with soy milk. Seems to be much better.
I think part of the problem is on of the medications I take. Tetracycline is murder on me if my stomach is empty. And this morning it's made me nauseous, but no pain.
Usually Ricola only bugs me if I have too many. There are no artificial colors or sweeteners in these.
As for the granola, it was bulk. I didn't think about it having dairy, but I will have to go back to Whole Foods and read the bin. I made sure that it was low fat and less than 3g fiber, but like I said I didn't even think about dairy. All natural ingredients in this cereal too.
It just blew my mind that after 2-3 years of being on an IBS diet I would start to have problems again! Granted, I wasn't terribly strict over Christmas, but I didn't go overboard either. And everything but the soup and granola were part of my diet before the holidays. I was just trying to add a little more fiber and find something quick for dinner. Guess I need to make my own soups!
