OKAY!

B: Bread and honey. Rooibos and Soy milk.
L: Pasta & tomato sauce.
D: Quorn burgers, low-fat oven fries and peas (nursery food! ).
S: 4 ADBs. And some water -haven't been counting.

Total cals: 1899!
Target: 2200.

Yay! Another day of eating yummy food and being on target. I didn't weigh myself tho and am going to ignore this evening's numbers as that was fully dressed and soon after dinner. SO I'll try and remember to do that tomorrow. I might MEASURE myself tho...I'm getting fitter with my job so I think I'm putting on muscle instead of losing weight.

Today it IS DH's birthday, so it fell apart at dinner but I'll try my best tomorrow. We ate at MIL's and I can tolerate most food without agony, so I didn't whine too much.

*Pre-brunch (we got up late) at 11
-1 rice cake, plain, no salt. Easy on the tum after yesterday's barrage, LOL!

*Lunch at 1
-2 regular tea with cream(bleah)and sugar
-1 lg. slice cantaloupe, 1/2 lg. slice honeydew, 2 strawberries, and 3 sm. sl watermelon
-1.5 sl. white toast with margarine, a tiny bit of PB(no good for my tum), and some Strawberry Jam. I'm quite full!
(pretty good start)

*Snack at 4: 1/2 rice cake (still full from lunch)

*Dinner at 6:
>>4 oz pot roast
>>1 cup pasta salad, pushed bad stuff aside
>>white bread with margarine
>> 2 TBSP potato salad
>>white Birthday cake, small pc
>>S'mores ice cream, 3 bites
>>White wine, 3 glasses.

So I tried to moderate it at least. But I'm feleing the sting ladies, believe me.

Consumed: 20
Burned: 4
Total: 16

It was a miracle I made it an 1:10 at the gym today- I have been feeling very nauseous all day. I don't know what the deal is, I even took an extra Nexium and 2 Equalactins and that didn't help. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.

NO SALAD OR RAW ANYTHING TODAY. How do I feel? I feel relieved! I feel a sense of liberation from that "habit," that dreaded "expectation" of requiring to eat raw leafy greens. Don't ask me how I acquired this terrible for me habit. My body is so happy. I HEREBY PROMISE MYSELF TO CONTINUE HONOURING body by refraining from "salad," in the traditional sense. There is no discomfort, not a spasm, barely a whisper of a fart all day long, not even a little bloating. No extra toilet trips. My inner sense of anxiety has dissipated. Wow. I also did not eat everything exclusively organically and so far so good. I'm in positive shock. Food shopping was really weird, too. I had to pop an anti-anxiety pill and half an Immodium (I have really bad nerves).

--1 c. puffed rice
--1.5 c. potatoes (over the course of the day).
--warm mushroom salad
--puree of spinach, asparagus, sweet basil etc. (Fresh sweet basil is incredible. If you're into growing herbs, I recommend it.)

I know that's not enough. I think it was too hot to really eat a lot and I was just stressed out. I'll nibble on some rice crackers or dry cereal, later.

Also, eliminating fruit seems to have subdued cramps, bloating, D.

Whole weekend report:
Saturday: I am not entirely sure exactly everything I ate.
B: MOM and raisins
2 bananas, 2 lunas, banana bread, for lunch and snacks -also some skittles
dinner: (at a friend's) fried rice, 2 chicken wings, greasy potatoes, rhubarb crisp and then a few bites ice cream cake- somehow I did really well. We went out and did things after dinner and I was able to pass gas too so I think that helped.
Sunday: MOM with banana 350
luna bar 180
lunch at crappy cafe: egg beater omelet with veggies and 2 pieces toast 300 and 2 mini pep. patties 60
HNC 250
little rice and a little napa cabbage salad 250
sorbet 120
total 1510
Exercise: Sat- 12 miles bike early morning (saw a gigantic turtle on the side of the road)
Sun when we got home I napped, wolfed down the HNC and went on an evening bike ride with DH for 15.5 miles. We saw a fox, a woodchuck, sandhill cranes and I helped 2 turtles across the street. Then I did weights and ball work.
I am feeling pretty great and have been told I am looking better. I hope to lose those 4 pounds by the end of June.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

It's Haagen-Dazs low fat chocolate sorbet, and it's pretty tasty. I find it at Fred Meyer, Safeway--pretty much any grocery store! (There are fruit flavors as well.) I'd recommend it if chocolate isn't a trigger for you. Also, it contains corn syrup which can be a problem for those sensitive to fructose.

Here's a list of the ingredients: water, sugar, corn syrup, egg whites, cocoa and cocoa processed with alkali, fruit pectin, natural vanilla, salt.
