Hey everybody,
Let me introduce myself, my name is Ry, short for Ryan.
Anyhow I used to come to this site before it went "all corporate" but all the same I'm happy that Heather has had success in helping people.
My IBS symptoms were bad a couple years ago, and that's what first brought me to this site. I remember starting off with learning all I could about soluble fiber.
Well anyways I felt better and after about a year on the diet I was pretty much able to eat anything I wanted.
But lately, as I'm about to go college, my stress levels have triggered my IBS sensitivities, so here I am again. I had to re-teach myself about the fundamentals in eating for IBS... in fact this afternoon I'm going to clear out the cupboards and go shopping for some safer foods.
So yeah, I just wanted to sortof say hi to everybody. I wanted to tell Heather that as soon as I pay for my college books I'll gladly support you by going out and buying one of your books... probably the one with the recipes because I need some of those!

Isn't is awful that just when you think you have IBS beat it comes back to bite you in the .....!
Unfortunately, stress is a trigger for me, too. I think it is a good idea that you are starting out with the safe foods again. I bet you will be better in no time.
