The skin of the grape is insoluble fibre thus making it a potential trigger. You can peel the skin off and eat the insides or try a few with the skin on after a safe meal. Try this one carefully.
Pineapple is insoluble as well. Eat with care. If you're craving pineapple, why don't you make a smoothie or some pineapple angel food cake (recipe on recipe board). They use pureed pineapple thus making it easier to digest.

Thanks, I'm glad I waited before I ate them. I'm throw the pineapple in a smoothy. I'll let someone else eat the grapes.

Know what's weird? I can tolerate grapes, if I have them with crackers or a safe sandwich. Otherwise I can't eat much other fruit besides bananas. Guess it's just as weird as everything else that goes along with IBS!

It's true... there's not much of anything about IBS that makes sense. LOL
I can do pineapples and grapes just fine. But applesauce and bananas? Nope, no way! How weird is that?

I can help. At the top of the page, when you're looking at the forum itself (with all the different posts), you'll see a little link on the right side that says "post". That will post a whole new message.
And welcome!
